Waipapa Section

In the very middle of the Waikato River Trails is the Lake Waipapa Section. You can access this section from Waipapa Dam or the entrance road to Maraetai Dams.

This section is the most challenging grade of the Waikato River Trails at an intermediate grade. The distance, however, makes this an achieveable ride or walk for most people. The remote nature of this section makes it very popular.
