This project is what NZ thinks of as heartland values - people working together to create a new community project.
Volunteer Updates
Our wonderful volunteers are the driving force behind the
Waikato River Trails
- without them we wouldn't have these amazing Waikato cycling and tramping trails available to the public.
A number of volunteer groups have been contributing to the
2011 winter planting programmes
and
Trail
enhancement.
A huge thanks to:
Putaruru Collge
Church of Latter Day Saints Youth Group
Hancock Forest Management
Fonterra Tirau
Tokoroa High School
Te Waotu Primary School
Forest Lake High School
A number of planting projects are coordinated by a small group of skilled volunteers. Thanks to Herman and Thea Van Rooijen, David Clarkson, Brian Pepperell, Katie Bayes, and many other supporters.
